Standards
- Accuracy first. Factual claims about products, laws or events are sourced. Sources are listed on the page.
- No fabrication. We don’t invent quotes, tests, ratings, reviewers, prices or statistics.
- Clear labelling. Vendor claims, independent audits and our own tests are distinguished (see methodology).
- Independence. Advertisers and affiliate partners can’t buy coverage, rankings or approval of content.
- Local relevance. Turkish and Persian pages are written for those readers, not machine-translated from English.
- Safety. Our security advice avoids overstating protection. No tool or VPN makes anyone anonymous or “100% safe”.
Use of AI tools
We use AI-assisted tools for research, drafting and code. Every published page is reviewed against its sources. AI output is never treated as a source of facts in itself.
Updates
Pages show a “Last updated” date. Substantive changes, such as a changed recommendation or corrected fact, are noted at the bottom of the page.
Corrections
Found an error? Email the address on our contact page with the page URL and what’s wrong. We aim to respond within five working days. Confirmed errors are corrected promptly, and significant corrections are noted on the page with the date.
Legacy content
Pages under /history/, /wiki/, /forum/ and /news/ are independently written replacements for old Shareaza-era URLs. They aren’t official Shareaza documentation and are labelled accordingly.
