This page replaces the old ?id=download page. Download sites and forums in several languages still link to it.
We do not host Shareaza installers, and we never will. Old URLs on this domain that once served
.exedebug builds (for example/debug/builds/…and/beta/builds/…) now return 410 Gone. An executable served from a domain that has changed owners cannot be trusted.

About the old debug builds
Backlink data shows this domain once served nightly debug builds named like Shareaza_2.4.0.2_Win32_Debug_r7631_2009-01-27.exe. These were development snapshots for testers, not releases. Their filenames record the 2.4.0.x development series between January and May 2009. Don’t install debug builds from mirrors. They were never meant for general use and are impossible to verify today.
Before you run any download
- Get the expected SHA-256 value from the official project page, not from the mirror you downloaded from.
- Calculate the file’s hash locally with our hash calculator or checksum verifier.
- Scan the file with an up-to-date antivirus and read Avoiding malware.
- Consider running decade-old P2P software only inside a virtual machine.
